Keep your account secure

Choose a strong password and add two-factor sign-in or a passkey.

Your account holds your servers and their logins, so it is worth protecting.

Open your account settings to manage everything below.

Use a strong password

Pick a long password you do not use on any other site. A short sentence that only you would write works well. Change it from the security page.

Add two-factor sign-in

Two-factor sign-in asks for a code from an app on your phone as well as your password.

  1. Open the security page.
  2. Choose to enable two-factor authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, and enter the code it shows.
  4. Save the recovery codes somewhere safe. They let you in if you lose your phone.

Add a passkey

A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of a password. Add one from the security page, and give it a name you will recognise, such as "My laptop".

If you think someone else has access

Change your password at once, then contact support. If you also keep a server login, reinstall the server for a new one.
