Follow your project

When we build a website or software for you, the work appears under Projects. The tab shows only once we have started a project for you.

The list

Each row shows the project, its Status, how many steps are done and the due date. Press the project name to open it.

The project page

• Status: Planned, Active, On hold, Completed or Cancelled.
• Progress: a bar and the number of steps done out of the total. We add the steps as the work is planned, so the total can grow.
• Payments: for a fixed-price project, each payment we agreed with you, its amount and whether it is invoiced or paid. Press Pay invoice to pay one that is due. See Pay an invoice.

Hourly projects do not list payments here. We invoice the hours worked, and those invoices appear under Invoices. See Find your invoices.

Updates and notifications

• In your account: when we have something new for you, a number appears on the Projects tab and the project is marked New update in the list. Open the project and the mark goes away.
• Updates from us: short notes about the work, newest first.
• Last updated: shown under the project name.
• By email: we do not email you about projects unless you ask. Open Profile, tick Get email notifications for project updates and press Save notifications. We then email you when a project changes stage and when we post an update. Untick it to stop.
